Strange Snack Alert

I just had a right cheeky snack
I'm afraid it's nothing Weight Watchers would track
I don't know where the inspiration came from
but it felt really good in my tum

It was gluten free toast with a layer of cheese puffs
Wotsits really but the Aldi stuff
Then cheese grilled till it did melt
you've really no idea how this bit of junk felt

What a weird combination which I've never had before
I suppose at fifty it's good to explore
I am a student, is it a student thing
or are my taste buds just having a fling

I don't know if I need an excuse
it was all gluten free so what's the use
It filled a gap deep inside
maybe my cheesy puff toastie will trend worldwide
