Back in January I wrote about Hecks sausages and how lovely they were as well as gluten free and low fat but I've found this very similar alternative in Aldi.
They are the Chicken Chipolatas and priced at £1.89 for a pack of 10 compared to around £3.00 for the Hecks. Now I'm not setting one against each other as they both are really nice but as I do my main shop in Aldi they are convenient to buy there. If you are on Slimming World these are 1 syn per sausage as opposed to the Hecks ones being only half a syn each so not much difference there.
I really do like these and tend to cook them all up and leave some in the fridge to snack on if I get peckish, which is quite a lot at the moment. I don't know whether it's because of winter or maybe my hormones but I feel I could eat everything in sight at the moment. Maybe I'm having a growth spurt or building myself up to fight some Australian or Japanese flu thing. I hope not as I really haven't got time to be ill. I'll just keep snacking on gluten free sausages and grapes, got a craving on them at the moment which is good.....fruit yay!!
So give these a try if you are around Aldi, the price may attract you for a very samey product but let me know what you think. I will be back tomorrow for Autism Support Saturday so please join me then if that interests you but for now.......
