Now this is a great piece of kit if you’re a busy blogger like me and general busy body. There are some groovy Bluetooth keyboards but I think this is my favourite.
Apart from the nice colour I like how compact it is and also how it just folds up neatly so I can pop it into my bag. I prop my phone on the little shelf which works great but you can also use an iPad as well. It is compatable with iOS, Android and Windows devices and just starts automatically when unfolded. It connects easily by Bluetooth and the keys are so comfortable to type with. So if you find your self with spare time and you are out and about like I am now you can just make this keyboard and your phone into a little laptop and work away. It’s great for meetings and just to work somewhere more discreetly. This comes with a usb charger and lasts quite a while, no messing, no fussing and easy peasy to use.....what more do you need? I also have a wallet type Bluetooth keyboard that I used to use with my iPad but sometimes found it bulky and if I was having a small handbag day, well it just wouldn’t fit. This one has no problem when handbag size is of importance, a big factor for me. I change handbags as much as my underwear so I like compact stuff now and again. You can buy this item from Amazon for £19.99 and it’s available in 5 colours: Black, Grey, Gold, Rose Gold and Silver, I will include a link (affiliated) at the end of this post to Amazon where I purchased this product from. Thank you for reading today. Please join me again for my Verse for Thursday......take care for now.

This is my favourite buy.....it's the Bush DWSLG96W Dishwasher. I've had this gorgeous piece of domestic bliss for about six months now and wanted to let it settle in before I reviewed it.
What is it about a dishwasher? Some say it's lazy when it's so easy to wash dishes but oh if you can get away with it I say leave it to a machine. One reason for having this dishwasher was that I suffer with eczema so having my hands in soapy water all the time isn't that good. I was suffering quite bad with dry sore hands..........ahhhhh I know, don't feel sorry for me I don't miss the time spent at the sink at all so alls good. I did spend quite a bit of time washing up so now I'm free to do something else and my boys have been freed from washing up duties now so they love our new friend too. We just fight over who loads it an unloads it now but I do like to do it as I like to load it a certain way. I'm not the only one surely? It has to be done properly yes? So how does it perform? Well really well.....it's a slimline model as I only had limited space, I really thought no space for years but I decided to take out a unit to fit it in. It has nine place settings and that is plenty of room for us three. It has many useful programmes including a quick wash, half load, intensive and economy. I purchased this from Argos for £189.99 and if you would like all the information on this dishwasher it's all here on the Argos website www.argos.co.uk/product/5323146 I think once you've had a dishwasher there's no going back as you realise how useful they are. I had one years ago and then didn't think about having one again until I went on a holiday to Scotland and we had one in the cottage in which we stayed. Well that was it, after using one again I realised I missed it so I kept getting the tape measure out on the kitchen just hoping I could fit one in somewhere. Hey presto here I am, sitting here writing this post while Dilly Dally Dolly does my dishes. She's great, only have to feed her with little tablets now and again, she does consume salt when needed but it's essential for the diet she's on. She never complains and isn't that noisy either. She can definitely stay. I wouldn't be without her at all. The only niggle I have is that sometimes the tablet doesn't pop out properly and is left at the bottom of the dishwasher without dissolving but it isn't that often to be honest so I'm not fussed. It does depend on the tablets sometimes and I find the ones from Aldi are more successful so fingers crossed. So I can recommend this dishwasher if you are thinking about one. It's good value for money and we love her a lot. If you are thinking should I? Definitely go for it as it makes life a whole lot easier. Don't listen to anyone who says it's lazy.......if that's the case then sometimes lazy is necessary. Thanks for being here today.......if you fancy it pop back tomorrow for a read of my Verse for Thursday, until then take care. Yes I've been feeding my bag addiction again. I will be known as the Bag lady won't I? Hey I love bags, what can I say, there are worst habits and things to be obsessed about. This is a great bag though.....have I said that before? I'm favouring the rucksack thing at the moment, I like the freedom of chucking a bag on one's back and away you go, like going on an adventure. I also like a bit of cross the body action too which is great because this back is a rucksack, cross the body and a handbag. So many choices and ways to carry it, I feel I may never get bored with this. It is made in a canvas fabric and there is a zipped pocket on the front, one on the back and pockets inside for all your smaller items such as a phone etc. It is nice and big which I'm liking too as sometimes I need to carry a folder so I've got the versatility of carrying as little or as much as I like. I don't favour a girlie handbag really so this sack type bag suits me fine and dandy. I've not had it long enough yet to see whether I can find everything ok in it. It does have a very dark fabric inside which sometimes makes it hard to see things. It's a bit of a pet hate I have about bags when bits and bobs get lost way below in the depths of bagdom but that's my fault for choosing a big bag. I've got hands, I can have a good feel around, oh it will be like a lucky dip. Just hope I pull something nice out. You can order this bag in different colours - blue, wine, coffee and khaki. I will pop a link to Amazon (affiliated) which is where I purchased it from. Thank you for reading today, join me again tomorrow for my Verse for Thursday but for now........take care. Sweeeeeeeeet! Now you know how much I like my brews well I can never resist a bit of sweetness in there, I've never been able to shake off the sugar or sweetness. When I'm out at any coffee shop I can never quite resist the syrups, they come in all sorts of different yummy flavours and it just feels like a treat popped in there.
I like it that much I thought I may have to have a bit at home too. I started with those teeny weeny little bottles that you see in the supermarket but they never lasted very long so I plummeted for a proper big industrial size. They don't come cheap which is my only peeve about these. For something like this Sweetbird Caramel a litre bottle can be around the £10 mark but it does last me a while. I don't use it all the time and only have a couple of squirts of it in a coffee. I also buy the sugar free variety too as this is free on Slimming World. Keep an eye out for reduced prices on Amazon as they do vary quite a bit in price even between the different flavours. I tend to flip between the Sweetbird and also the Monin varieties as the prices are sometimes different. It's worth doing the research. I have also bought the pump for the bottle too which just not only makes you look like a Barista but makes it easier to apply to the brew. I like the Vanilla, Caramel, Hazlenut and have to have a bottle of the Gingerbread at Christmas, just gets me in the mood. I go for frothy coffees with squirty cream at that time as well, it just has to be done. So there you go, you can have a bit of syrup, you pay quite a bit of cash but you don't pay any syns for it. I'm just keeping my addiction down to one bottle at a time but if I could, I'd have them all in. You can actually use this syrup in baking and in milk shakes too so it's handy having a bottle around. If you would like to order this caramel syrup (pictured) you can find the link (affiliated) here:
and if you would like a pump for it too you can find one here at Amazon:
As I said these are the Sweetbird variety but there are other makes available. Enjoy and let me know if you enjoy these syrups too. Thank you so much for reading today, join me again tomorrow for my Verse for Thursday.....where do these weeks go? Phew!! Take care for now. |
