Keeping the Car Tidy

When we get a new car most of us start a 'new car resolution' and it goes something like.......yes I'm going to keep it clean, inside and out - wash and vacuum it every week - rubbish free zone - I will promise to keep it as immaculate as when I first had it.

Yeah right, never happens does it? I'm on a mission to try now and to start things off I have purchased two items that will at least keep my boot space tidy. We have all experienced items which are chucked in the boot and they slide everywhere, fall over, oh the boot can look like some 70's jumble sale by the time you've been just two miles up the road.. Well my fellow motoring people, if this happens to you, you need Stayholds. They are plastic brackets that velcro to the base of your car boot and hold everything in place. They even include straps so that you can strap your best vintage wine to the car without it rolling around all over the place. Great eh?

I first saw these in my brothers car boot and thought they were amazing, all the times I tried to find something to transport the odd boxed bouquet of flowers or something precious that I could not bare to see fall over or get spoilt. They would easily keep a load of shopping safe and sound, you may be a crafty person and have to transport displays of some kind, or a delivery driver and need to keep your parcels safe, well this is for you.

I purchased the Stayhold Super Pack which consists of 1 Large and 2 Small organisers plus 2 quickstraps and 2 heavy duty extra long utility straps all for £19.05 from Amazon You can buy all the pieces individually too so you can add more or just buy one on its own. For more information on this follow the link to Amazon (affiliated) at the end of this post.

My other item is a Collapsible Heavy Duty Car Boot Tidy also from Amazon. It contains two main compartments and three convenience pockets on the side. This can be folded flat and put out of the way until you need to use it or left our ready for instant use. There are two handles on each end making transporting items inside very easy. It measures 63.5 cm in length 33cm wide and 33cm high so plenty of room, I managed quite a bit of shopping in it today and was most impressed. It costs £12.99 and is really sturdy, just watch the weight when carrying it around but it can accomodate a fair few items.

This would be ideal for any car, SUV, caravan or for tools in a van. Again if you're into crafts you could transport your items around easily and know that everything is secure, tidy and there is no chance of spillages in the car itself.  I'm really thinking about another one just to put all my info including leaflets etc for my Autism Support Groups. I will include a link to Amazon for this again at the end of this post. So what teapot rating would I give for these items? Well for both items I would give a:

I'll keep you posted how tidy I manage to keep the car, it's a kind of work in progress for me but wish me luck. Thank you so much for reading today, I will be back with a Verse for Thursday tomorrow so join me then. Here are your links for today's 'What to Buys'........Take care.
