Are E Cigs and Vaping here to stay?

I still have my little collection of e cigs/vaping gadgets. I started with the 'real look' cigarette type years ago as vaping hadn't real taken off and can't remember what really made me start using one.
I was smoking at the time and my first intention was to save money but didn't really take to it for long, I still craved the real thing so it got put in the 'bits and bobs' box in the kitchen drawer. We've all got one and it becomes like the twilight zone, the place where you are just not ready to throw that item out as you may need it in the future.....ten years later when it comes to the bit box's spring clean, you still have the same things....never been used.
Vaping became the new craze and sometimes I like to buy a gadget just to experiment and see if it is as everyone raves about. You could fill this with fancy flavours and it was the easiest way of having a strawberry cheesecake without the calories. It was a bit fiddly at first to fill up but not bad really and I questioned again whether it was going to replace the cigarettes, was it safe? We still don't know really how safe these things are and whether they are bad for the body but I did get used to it for a while. After working my way through the whole selection of flavours I actually found I was losing interest in using it, but this was good. I only used it when I had a craving and eventually the cravings decreased.
I have now been a non smoker for well over a year, not really counting as I've just enjoyed not putting the pressure on myself. So this little device can in some cases help stop smoking. I do keep it close.....it has been saved from the 'bits and bobs' box because as anyone who has given up smoking knows you still get cravings now and again. If I do get that craving I fire this baby up just to get me over it and for me it works.
For some it's a replacement and better than the standard ciggy's, it's certainly more pleasant to stand next to someone vaping than smoking. I saw someone walking down the street today and did get slightly worried as this person seemed surrounded in vapour, she must have been very stressed and needed to vape like mad, I nearly pulled the car over and called the fire brigade. So many clouds around these days, icloud, onecloud, mycloud, yourcloud, but she seemed happy in her vape cloud.
I think vaping and ecigs will be around for a long time yet, I purchased mine from VIP but there are many different types available. I'm in no way promoting this but if someone does think it may be a way of helping them quit the cigarettes then I don't think it's a bad thing to pass it on.
Be good and catch ya tomorrow......
