Multi Cooker, where have you been all my life?

Well I suppose it's been busy being invented and I'm glad it has because this piece of kitchen kit is just brilliant. It does everything. It bakes, steams, stir fry's, shallow fry's, deep fry's, slow cooks, stews, makes rice, pasta, soup and yogurt. It delays the cooking time and automatically keeps your meal warm after the initial cooking stage for up to 24 hours.

I was looking to upgrade my current air fryer as I wanted to cook healthy food enabling me to hopefully stick to my diet and make some tasty gluten free meals. I caught sight of this baby and wondered whether it would be better value for money and it is as I don't have to use different pieces of equipment and it has cut down on how many saucepans I use. I can now get rid of some of my other devices to make some room. I took a look at the reviews online regarding the Redmond RMC-M800S-E and couldn't find one negative comment. Now you usually find one person who can't find anything good to say about some products but no, I could only see people raving about it. I was skeptical, nothing is that good surely, I'm not a great cook so I bet I can find something wrong with it but I honestly can't, not so far anyway.

In the box you get the cooker, a steaming basket, deep fry basket, measuring cup, serving spoon, stirring paddle, user manual and a cookbook including 100 recipes. It even hooks up to a fancy little app on your phone and from there you can look up recipes and control it from your armchair so no missing a question on The Chase or Pointless. Amazing eh? The bowl which you do all the cooking in is sturdy, non stick and the whole thing is so easy to clean. This model was reasonably priced at £129.99 from Costco, there are other models available from a range of different outlets so it's good to do some research to find out which one is the best one for you.

I totally recommend this and love it that much I have started to write another blog just dedicated to top tips and recipes for the multi cooker. It is called 'Multi Cooking Mum' and can be found at:
multicookingmum.wordpress.com

I've only just started it up and am planning to update it every week so keep an eye out. If you would like more information about the Redmond Multi Cooker you can find it at:
multicooker.com/uk/

The link to this cooker at Costco is: www.costco.co.uk/view/p/redmond-smart-multi-cooker-rmc-m800s-e-232326

I have baked a cake, made some bread, stir fried and made a chilli in it so far and looking forward to experimenting more with it. I think it is a smart gadget for any kitchen and doesn't take up too much room. I'll keep you posted how I go with it anyway.

Thanks for reading and I will be back for a Verse for Thursday tomorrow, it is bound to feature the General Election, what else can be happening tomorrow?

Take care for now.........
