Our next song at Rock Choir...

Oh look at that 90's leather rock look, ahhhhhh remember it well. Now I feel old when I realise that this song is 27 years old this month. Where did that time go? I was celebrating my 21st when this was around. The memories are all flooding back.

More Than Words by Extreme is our next song to learn at Rock Choir which I start on tomorrow. I love this song and quite liked Extreme back in the day, like most gals I thought Nuno Bettencourt was a bit of eye candy (he's the one on the left, sultry, long hair). The video for this song is really good, it's filmed in black and white, instruments down apart from the acoustic guitars and one you can hold your lighter up to and sing along, which they actually do in the video.

It's the classic 90's rock band who flicked their long locks of hair back and switched from head banging to seductive romantic ballad material. It worked as it was a massive hit in the states reaching number one in the Billboard charts and number two here in the UK. 

So I think it will be lovely for Rock Choir and personally can't wait to learn it, pretty familiar with it so half way there but I'm interested to hear what it sounds like after it's been 'Rock Choir'd. Exciting!!
