I posted recently that I had been watching the fabulous drama 'Keeping Faith' here is that post about the series.....whats-wrong-with-the-end-of-the-week.html I can't rave enough about this and if you haven't watched it go and catch up on BBC iplayer.
Although I'm glued to the drama itself I couldn't help but become taken away by the music accompanying it. I got looking at the credits and found Amy Wadge. A bit late to the party I feel, I may be ashamed to say I'd never heard of her and I'm so glad I do now as she's just amazing. Grammy Award winning Amy is well known to most, but obviously I missed the memo, for her collaborations with numerous artists including Ed Sheeran and Kylie but her own material and her voice is so soothing and one of the best I've heard in ages. I am a bit addicted to the Keeping Faith EP but I have torn myself away and have worked my way through most of her solo work and I love it. Walking Disaster is a great song, upbeat and it's great for singing along to in the car, makes me smile this one. If you've been reading my posts about Rock Choir, well you'll we have been learning 'Don't Leave Me This Way'. If you are a Rockie reading this then go and listen to Amy's version it is quite different but really good. She totally rocks those 'set me free's' and 'come satisfy me's'.....makes it sound so easy. I am gonna go back and listen to 'Faith's Song' as it's on a constant loop so please go check this woman out......here is some information about Amy on her website at.... www.amywadge.com and I will leave you with Faith's Song by Amy Wadge here on You Tube...... Enjoy!!! youtu.be/7gzZEtiusO4 Thank you for reading today, join me again tomorrow for Teapot Tuesday, yes more tea.....one can never have too much tea. Take care me lovelies xx
