Does music start your day?
What do we like to listen to in the morning if anything? Maybe you like to watch a bit of breakfast tv but for me I love the radio. I listen to Radio 2 so I get Chris Evans entertaining me which I like as he has so much energy, he wakes my brain trying to keep up with him, which is a good start. The rest of my body tends to catch up eventually….well sometimes. There are those who find him annoying but we all like different things, it would be totally boring if we all liked the same things.
I like Radio 2 as I know the music there. I get a bit lost with Radio 1, it used to be my favourite but I’m not sure whether I got older or they needed to update it to make it relevant for the young folk. I remember the big change and taking my listening over to the next station or maybe I hit my thirties.
I used to watch the tv in the morning but I’m not sure I can deal with Piers Morgan first thing. I suppose his Mrs has to but I need to get my day established before I take on one of his debates. I must be one of the rare people who quite likes him but I end up getting far too fired up when he gets ‘on one’, my blood pressure shoots up and even worse I spill my brew!!
I like to listen to some music first thing in the morning, it starts my day the way I want it to. I’ve settled into Radio 2 with the funny banter but I have also gone with something like Smooth FM too but then I have to juggle whether it’s best to have adverts and less chatter….no give me Mr Evans everyday and I’m happy!!
What do you listen to? Does music make a difference in the morning or do you not pay it much attention? It may be just a background thing but you can’t beat trying to sing along to Bohemian Rhapsody while chomping on your cornflakes. Just don’t choke on them, Freddie would not have wanted that.
Thank you for reading today, go on, come back again tomorrow for Teapot Tuesday……you know you want to.
Take care for now.
