I couldn't really go up to Scotland without buying some teabags eh? I did as well.....I caught sight of these Highland Blend teabags from The Edinburgh Tea and Coffee Company. They taste really nice and after polishing off one box I had to buy another and bring them back home. I love that because I'm reminded of my holiday every time I have a Highland Brew.
These teabags are a mix of ceylon, assam and african teas blended in Edinburgh, so refreshing and not too strong. They are packed in individual packets with a string to infuse in your favourite cup, mug or dangle a bag in a fabulous teapot and away you go. I also bought some whisky teabags from the same company and if I'm honest I don't really get a taste of whisky at all. While up in the Highlands someone offered to make me a brew and just tip a proper whisky in it which I think would have been rather interesting. I mean I've had the Bailey's coffee but a whisky liqueur tea?? I may try it and let you know. Nice tea all the same and of course I'm not going to waste them but I can't taste anything that resembles whisky. Someone else might so if you see the do give them a go and let me know what you think. There is a nice selection of tea at The Edinburgh Tea and Coffee Company including Scottish Breakfast, Heather and Thistle tea bags too. If you would like more information they have a website with an online store at www.edinburghteacoffee.co.uk You can also buy these teabags and their loose leaf tea on Amazon too so I can still have a constant supply of this tea which is great because I thought I would have to be popping up to Inverness every so often to get supplies. That's not a bad thing as I love it up there but it's a very long way to go for a brew. I have had a look on their website and seen the most beautiful teapot on there.....oh if I had more shelf space I would......I think. This is getting as bad as my handbag addiction. I need blinkers....can you get those from Specsavers? I'll ask next time I go. You all take care now and I will be back tomorrow for What to Buy Wednesday.....join me then.
