I stumbled into a nice little place the other day, yep fell into a chair and a kind lady brought me a brew, it happens a lot just lately.
I walked into 'Milk and Honey' which is situated in Sadlergate in Derby and it started of as a cute little deli with cheeses, olives, chutneys and jams. and then opened up at the back into a nice coffee/tea shop.
As the name mentions, they do stock internationally and locally sourced honey so a lot on offer to buy. They offer a great selection of tea, coffee, sandwiches, panini's, salads and homemade soup. You can eat in or takeaway so what's not to like about this place?
I sampled a latte with a naughty little syrup in and as I looked around the tea they have for sale was just jumping out at me saying 'buy me'! So I did I bought some of their award winning Novus tea bags to take home.
It does taste very nice, they have the bags or loose leaf tea and coffee on offer too so it is really worth a look if you like a brew. Lovely friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere here so give it a try.
They are situated on 15 Sadlergate in The Cathedral Quarter part of Derby. They have a Facebook page at
Whatever your brew, whether it be tea or coffee or something much stronger, grab it and join me again tomorrow for Whatever Wednesday.
