I caught sight of a little half hour programme on the last night called 'Give it a Year'. A little spin off from The Apprentice I feel where Karren Brady gets to visit Entrepreneurs embarking on their first year of business. She visits them and gathers information on their ideas for their business projects. She then asks then what their goals are and then revisits them in a years time to see whether they have achieved what they set out to do.
One idea was this lovely china mug created by Thomas Gostelow. It charges up on a dinky little charging coaster and then keeps your brew warm at the right temperature. I think this is great because I am one of those people who make a brew then get distracted and I'm off doing something or I sit doing a job and then before I know it, yes my brew is cold. It's not good!. The thermal flask type mugs are good but they are very plasticy and don't think my brew tastes as nice. I alway think those mugs are good for going out with your brew but they are considerably cheaper than this baby. You see it retails at £129.99 and this was the issue on the programme. Karren was trying to get Thomas to see that it's a great idea but very expensive for the end user really. It is expensive for what it is but it is a gadget that comes with a bit of fancy technology so I think you get what you pay for. I commend Thomas for producing a bone china mug as a brew tastes nicer in ya best china. There are other mugs on the market which are slightly cheaper but are ceramic or plastic. With all it's technology inside Thomas's mug is dishwasher proof too, now you can't put many gadgets in your dishwasher can you? I loved this guy, he had a passion and enthusiasm for his product which makes you want to buy it just for that reason. Unfortunately it's a bit off my radar for now but they are offering a 30% discount with a code from last nights show which is GIVEITAYEAR30 so all is not lost. If you would like to know more about this product go to: www.glowstone.tech and if you get chance to watch the programme catch up on the ITV Hub it is worth a watch. Thanks for reading today, I'm going to drink my tea before it gets cold!! Join me tomorrow for What to Buy Wednesday. Take care for now.
