Well I had to visit at least one tearoom while I was away on my jolly holidays, only the one Sue from the Brew? Of course not but this cosy little place was just up the road from where we were staying. I know! Tea and cake just up the road....I was actually contemplating moving there.
The White Cottage Tearoom at North Kessock near Inverness was just delightful, beautiful tasty fresh food and such a friendly service too. We had lunch there so treated ourselves to jacket potatoes, a cheese sandwich a burger dish and potato cake with eggs benedict complete with fresh salmon. Yummy!!! I didn't eat all that myself, the full 'Family from the Brew' were with me It was absolutely gorgeous and there were cakes to but believe it or not I was so stuffed I couldn't eat anymore, even my dessert stomach was not coming out to play. They serve breakfast too so a great place to start your day while looking out over the Beauly Firth and possibly catch sight of a dolphin or two swimming past, yes they can be seen....but you have to believe first, it's like magic they only come to those who believe. We did catch sight of some further down in the Moray Firth, it's a beautiful sight if you get the chance. So if your passing through Kessock some time pop into the White Cottage Tea Room and have a brew, you won't regret it. let me know if you have been here, did you enjoy it? I actually missed this place last year when we visited and found out about it on our return this year. I can't believe I missed it before, I would of driven past it numerous times, must be losing my touch of sniffing out new tea places. I've put it right now. Phewwww! Thank you for reading today, join me again tomorrow for What to Buy Wednesday but for now take care.
