We visited this lovely place last week on half term. I took my eldest son and my mum for a brew and some cake When you first walk in the door what hits you is the massive array of cakes, there is so much to choose from and some gluten free selections too. My son plummeted for a Bakewell slice which is one of his all time favourites and I can't say I blame him.
It is a busy little place and situated within Collyer's Nursery in Borrowash Derby. I had honestly never been here before and delighted to see such a fair sized garden centre with some great products. I think I may re visit when the spring arrives, when I'm to replant my pots on my patio.
The cafe has free wifi, kids meals, gluten free & vegan options, take out cakes and drinks too, an extensive coffee garden, there is wheelchair access and disabled toilets available
We sat and enjoyed our tea and cake and chatted away, my son caught sight of one of his college tutors who had also popped in so proves to be a popular and friendly place. The staff are very nice and there is an extensive menu to be explored. The menu can be seen on the website at:
