How do you take your tea?

Now I'm back on the diet I am actually contemplating how to drink my tea. Well I know how to drink it, I get plenty of practice, in fact I could actually be sponsored by Typhoo or PG or any other tea company really. I so want to get some more weight shifted that I'm actually thinking about skimmed milk.

Oh it's got serious now if I'm thinking skimmed, I mean come on it's water with a white tinge, white water? That's for rafting isn't it? It doesn't take an adrenaline junky to drink it in fact you need some adrenaline to attempt to drink it. Does anyone actually enjoy it and after consuming it comment that it was just gorgeous.....NO!

See I'm now talking myself out of it, there comes a point where milk needs a bit of fat in it. I myself have a splash of semi skimmed goats milk, it's better on the digestion apparently but apart from that I can have an allowance of 275ml of milk from the goat compared with 250ml of cows milk on slimming world. I know that 25ml makes all the difference but when you look at that compared to almond milk which if unsweetened you can have a massive 1 litre of Healthy Extra daily allowance. Phew! you can literally go milk crazy with nutty milk. Not sure how it tastes in my brew though. I may have to let you know on that.

I have tried the cashew milk and wasn't impressed and also soya doesn't fill me with excitement, I have to enjoy my brew, it's very important. There is the option of no milk at all, that may need a bit of getting used to as I'm not even good at black coffee. It's tough but I remember when there wasn't all this choice, I mean it's great for people who cannot tolerate dairy and for people on a vegan diet but at one time it was cows milk or nothing. It also came delivered by a milkman in glass bottles, oh no my little make a brew reader, it wasn't that easy to get back in the day.

My dad will go back even further back and tell you about the days when milk was delivered by horse and cart but that's a tale for another day. So I may have to just bite the bullet and make a sacrifice for a while, when I get to my target weight I can let loose a little, you know what they say ' no pain no gain'

Let me know how you like your tea, do you just have a little splash and keep it strong or do you like a lot of milk? Maybe no milk at all. Please let me know it you have almond milk and is it ok? I have been guessing my milk allowance on my diet and have had it completely wrong. I've been syning really bad. I measured out 275ml of milk and it's really not a lot at all - oops.

I could just carry on syning and enjoy with butter on my toast too but then that's just naughty Sue from the Brew. I'll let you know how I go on.
Thank you so much for reading today and being here with my dilemma. It's only day two of January and I haven't made a resolution so I'm not stressing. Please pop back tomorrow for Whatever Wednesday but for now......

Take care.
