Are you having trouble sleeping? Well I think I may have the answer and it's all in the brew. I am sticking with Twinings again this week, but I know what you are thinking my little brewsters, I am flirting with the tea providers eh? You haven't seen anything, wait until I go to a Tea Festival in Derby taking place in a couple of weeks, I will be a Tea Tart!!.
So I tried a Sleep Superblend Tea from Twinings and have to say it was really nice. Now I'm not a great fan of camomile, I find it a bit......soapy to be honest but this is marvellous as the clever blenders at Twinings have added a bit of apple, vanilla and passionflowers in there too. I don't tend to be a big fruity tea drinker either but have taken to these mainly for the fact they have helped me relax and sleep a bit better. It may be a fluke a coincidence or complete load of nonsense but for me it does seem to work and I haven't slept, well since my children were born back in 2000. Actually come to think of it pre children I was out partying all night so I probably haven't slept since 1988. Well I seem to have some catching up to do, thanks Twinings (as I go and brew the whole twenty teabags), My other choice of the Superblend range was Matcha Green Tea with Cranberry and Lime. These are super refreshing and tangy with that added lime. It just feels good while drinking this. For those who don't know Matcha is a fine powder created from green tea and is an important part of Japanese culture. Together with the added flavours and manganese this all helps to contribute to a normal energy yielding metabolism. I know, I am going to be so healthy by the time I have drank all this tea, I just have to put away the biscuits and practice a bit more yoga then I'm good. Very nice range of tea, well done Twinings, there are more blends within the range such as:
Twinings have a 3 for 2 offer on their website, each pack contains 20 teabags for £2.69. For more information go to: www.twinings.co.uk If you have tried any of these please do let me know. For now though thank you for reading today, catch me again tomorrow for What to Buy Wednesday. Take care.
