Tassimo Tea

I don't think I've introduced you to my best friend who resides in my kitchen. The Tassimo machine is brilliant, I've had mine for years and it has never let me down. Well it did once but only just recently and after being used like mad I managed to track down a spare part and 'bobs me uncle' it's back to perfection again.

I think I would actually miss it if I didn't have it, it gives me drinks through it's pods or gives me boiling water so, little need for another kettle. The selection of drinks are good including the Costa range of Latte and Cappuccino, Kenco Coffee and Twinings Tea. I think at some point I've had most varieties of drinks. My son favours the Hot Chocolate which is available in Cadbury's, Suchard, Milk and Oreo so a great choice of top names in hot beverages.

I have made a move to decaffeinated drinks now so I'm a bit disappointed that there isn't a decaf tea in the range yet but maybe in the future they might make one. The Twinings English Breakfast is really nice though. I have found a nice decaf coffee from Kenco and tend to make it up with some hot milk. I have been known to pop a Bailey's in there on a weekend and top with squirty cream just on the days when I fancy myself as a barista.

The machine itself is easy to clean, no problem to descale, yes you have to do this regularly and the warning light always lights up for that job just when you don't need it to. I have the Fidelia T40 model and like I say it's been so reliable so I can recommend it. The pods can be bought from any supermarket and also online, some may see them as a bit pricey but I like them for convenience and taste but I don't buy many. Some may also object to the plastic pods clogging up the environment but there are recycle programs for these pods so it is a good idea to look into that.

Overall a nifty bit of kit, I have thought about trying other similar machines but I always come back to my trusty Tassimo. Do you have one? What do you think? I'd love to hear your views or if you prefer another type. Leave a comment below. It's coming up to Christmas so maybe you are thinking what to buy someone. I will include the link to a couple below available through Amazon (affiliated).

Thanks for reading today, I will be back tomorrow for Whatever Wednesday but for now.....take care.
