I love this place, it's so cosy and friendly you just can't resist. A traditional cafe which sits in the centre of Park Farm Shopping Centre in Allestree, Derby has fabulous food and refreshments.
I've actually been in a few times now and on my last visit just before Christmas we were welcomed with a smile and Hayley was very Kindly giving out chocolates to the customers, I mean what more do you need? A brew, top food and an added choccy. Visiting here is bit like visiting family and I love that kind of atmosphere as for me that's what makes me return again. When you can have a laugh and a natter with local people it just lifts your spirits especially at this time of year when Christmas is over and the weather is a bit dismal, we all need a bit of cheering up. If you've not visited Park Farm Shopping Centre then give it a go. There are so many small shops and you can get everything from here really. There is a butchers, grocer, optician, health shop, gift shops, bank, post office, card shops, hairdressers, florist, Boots The Chemist, George's Chip Shop, Dominoes and Papa John's Pizzas, Wilkos, Co-op, a newsagent, there are charity shops, Farm Foods, Birds Bakery Shop.........and a partridge in a pear tree.....not really but blimey I live near here and didn't realise just what is there until I wrote it down. So if you would like more information about Park Farm Shopping Centre, there is a website at: www.parkfarmshoppingcentre.co.uk and if you would like to know more about The Lemon Tree Cafe they have a Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/TheLemonTreeCafeAllestree/ Thank you for reading today, join me again tomorrow for our new feature this year 'What to Buy Wednesday' where I will be reviewing a product.....oooooooh what will it be? Take care for now.
