Well I've been keeping my eye on the usuals and there will be a couple of finales this week. We see the Bake Off final and the end of Strangers which I'm looking forward to seeing. Who really was behind Megan's murder? The plot thickens and this series has had a lot of revelations and twists, anything could happen. I squealed slightly at the end of the last weeks programme, wasn't expecting that really and I won't say in case you want to catch up.

I'm busting to know who will win The Great British Bake Off, it's so hard to call. Ruby looks like a great contender which I didn't think I would say as she looked like a goner at one point. Rahul was a favourite from the start but even he has had a wobbly now. Kim Joy is just so lovely, I've got to the stage where she's such a little emotional hippy I don't care how she bakes I just want her to win. Briony has been fab throughout and I don't mind seeing her win either so if you are looking to me for a prediction then, frankly I can't decide. Let them all win but will someone make sure Prue is not near a phone texting before Tuesday evening......we don't want to know the result too early eh?

If you haven't seen the series Butterfly then go and catch up right now! It has been on ITV Sunday evenings and it did clash with The Cry so now that has finished you can go and watch it. There are just three programmes in the series and it stars Anna Friel as Vicky, a mum who fights for the happiness of her child. Max played by Callum Booth Ford is an eleven year old boy who wants to live life as a girl and to be accepted as Maxine. There are those dramas that get you sitting on the edge of your seat because they are edgy and thrilling and then there is this drama which just tears at your heart strings. It is wonderfully acted by all the cast and the feelings of all parties involved really came over.

You could sympathise with everyone within this family unit whom really only wanted the best for this child. The passion involved sometimes led to drastic actions being taken and therefore the family faced the worst so prepare yourself as things do get heated. Take a look anyway to see if they do work it out.

I wasn't going to watch it but after watching the first one I was hooked. There were some lovely moments such as the support Maxine gets from her older sister and also after seeing so much pain and agony, hurt and unrest, there was a ray of sunshine and hope, just a lovely drama. It is one of those dramas that if you are a parent, you feel all those feelings and it questions what you would do in that situation. I like that because it gets you thinking not only about life but what other people go through, a thinking drama.

Now I'm thinking I should pop off and get some sleep.......I'll catch you again tomorrow for Music Monday but for now.......

Take care.
