Wow that was one dramatic tense last programme of the series with Marcella. Oh my goodness, I was on the edge of my seat when that wicked women took Edward away. I was completely glued. Just as you think it was all sorted she went off on one again. There were a lot of loose ends left undone really for me. What happened with the lesbian couple who wanted the baby for instance? Were some people just red herrings to put you off sussing out who the murderer was?
Some are actually questioning the therapist as well and wondering as she was recommended by Marcella's ex husband that in fact she did something to make Marcella believe she had killed her daughter. It all leads to another series surely. A new series with Marcella undercover now that could be pretty good. Overall a great series but I always feel a bit cheated when I don't get the answers to some loose ends. Maybe I need to back track. The three part series Come Home ended as well this week. I thought this was a good drama with Christopher Eccleston who's wife leaves the family home and then after a while decides she wants to be back in her children's lives again. It's a hard 'tug of war' story between a breakdown of a marriage and the effect that this has on everyone's lives. It was well acted although I'm not too keen on Christopher Eccleston sometimes but loved him in The A Word. I think he suits a slightly more comical role but that's just my opinion. After a lot of dark secrets emerging and a question of the paternity of one child it came to a conclusion really that the fighting needed to stop and in fact as much as she had won the case and got custody of her children it wan't the result she really wanted. They therefore agreed to share custody, with compromise and forgiveness this series came to happyish conclusion. A very familiar tale for some families but well produced. If you didn't catch it, all three episodes are on BBC iplayer. I've been distracted by Netflix this week and have watched the second series of Jessica Jones which is brilliant and now watching Daredevil. yes I seem to have a fixation on the Marvel series's but they are really good. There is nothing like a superpower to provide great action packed drama. I can really recommend these if you are looking for something to binge watch and you like a superhero.....no capes in these though. Hey who needs a cape anyway, they get in the way, just ask Madonna. Thanks for reading today, please join me tomorrow for Music Monday but for now take care.
