Well Done Dec!

sAhhh bless him, didn't he do well? I felt for this guy as I think it was going to be the hardest job he has ever have to face. After his best buddy Ant was charged with drink driving the other week Dec took the tough decision to finish the series alone. It was a bit odd as I think we are so used to seeing them as a pair but he had a lot of support up there and the reaction from the audience was fantastic.

I suppose some of the people appearing on the show would have been appearing before until last weeks show was cancelled so some 'surprises' would have had to be re created but the alternative was that these people wouldn't have got their chance and there would be a lot of people not going 'on the plane' to Florida next week. So a big well done to Dec and all involved, you carried on and made it work. We all wish Ant a speedy recovery and hope the pair will be re united soon.

I spent the rest of the week crying again, I am a mushy emotional person anyway but blimey I've not wept for a while. like this. I tuned in to watch the Ladies Night of The Real Full Monty. These very brave celebrity gals would bare their boobies in a Full Monty type show to raise awareness for breast cancer. What amazing women and they all had a story to tell which gave them their inspiration to take on this project. At the helm was Coleen Nolan who was given the job to recruit Megan McKenna, Sarah -Jane Crawford, Michelle Heaton, Victoria Derbyshire, Ruth Madoc, Helen Lederer and Sally Dexter. Their routine was choreographed by the lovely Ashley Banjo who put together such a sassy and stylish routine to the Greatest Showman hit 'This is Me'.

Well I completely blubbed at the end, I felt as though I'd gone through the whole thing with them but I did check and my boobs had stayed intact inside my pj's....phew. Didn't they look fantastic though? I felt so proud of them as a fellow woman and it's made me realise the importance like so many others that we should all be checking our boobies. This programme followed the mens Real Full Monty so catch up if you didn't see them.

I cried again last night with the cast of Casualty......oh heck. Poor Glen. It was heartbreaking and they are a true team there at Holby City aren't they? All the team stayed there to support Robyn. I thought ohhhhh why as they had just got married and were so happy, it didn't seem fair. I know it's not real but I like Glen, he's just settled in and was part of the whole Holby family. Gutted! RIP Glen.

I caught up today with the brilliant RAF at 100. If you haven't seen this then you must!! Ewan McGregor and his brother Colin reunite for another great programme. It gives a great insight to the massive 100 year history of the Royal Air Force and we see Ewan and Colin working up to a flight in the magnificent Typhoon aircraft. We hear stories from Battle of Britain and Cold War pilots and also from Mary and Joy who were pilots with the Air Transport Auxillary. They were just so entertaining, for a woman who was 100 herself and the other in her 90's they were funnier than any stand up comedy I've seen recently. You just can't write that, it's real, true stories from amazing people who we all need to remember. The sacrifices these people made so we could have the lives we live now. So please if you watch anything go watch this as it is truly amazing. Well done to Obi  One (Wan) and Obi Two. Just pure class tv.

Right I'm off to have a look at the new Generation Game which is on tonight with Mel and Sue. They had better have a cuddly toy on the conveyor belt!

Take care and join me again tomorrow for Music Monday.
