The Desirable Digestive

Oh look at you you're a naughty sin
sitting there smug in the biscuit tin
I will not eat you I won't give in
if I do pick you up you're going straight in the bin

Just one though may not hurt
I could just count it as a treat or dessert
That's how it starts the decline of the diet
before you know it the whole pack has gone - a diet riot!

I could eat one and deny all knowledge
have a slight memory lapse then make myself a pledge
To never darken my palate again
if I have the urge then just count to ten

Life's too short to go without a treat
we all need something a little sweet
Have a little in moderation
sometimes sins don't need any explanation
