Give a little love....

It's been a week of spreading love
whether here on earth or to those up above
It's not something exclusive to all you lovers
it's for the whole world, even the single people it covers

I'm talking of Valentines Day of course
for some it may fill with sadness and remorse 
You may not be keen or feel lonely inside
that's ok but don't feel you have to hide

You can of course love yourself
it's a good place to start if you feel you're on the shelf
Don't stay there too long as there is love to share
from family and friends who really really care

So open your heart and let love pour out
there's really nothing to be scared about
It's something we should be all proud of
that splendid little thing called love
