Or should I say TARDIS? She hasn't actually found her TARDIS yet though but I'm sure it won't be long. So what did we think to Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor?
I really like the first episode, I thought it was a suitable introduction to the new Doctor and also the characters that may be joining her on her travels, after all she's just a traveller eh?
The theme music has gone back to old style, It gave me goosebumps as it sounded just like it used to do way back in my younger days. I nearly felt like I may have to hide behind the sofa as the alien baddy looked very like Predator with human teeth which he wore on his face, these were extracted from his victims.....eww not nice but great in as Doctor Who aliens go.
It had a nice balance of drama and humour to it with a neat little storyline for the first one. Not too completed as some writers before have made it but Chris Chibnall go it just right. I liked the choosing of her clothes and think she looks brilliant. I'm not even having to adjust to the gender change of The Doctor, I really just see the character and the personality carrying through irrelevant of whether male or female.
It does look as though she is going to have a few travelling companions rather than just one. I love Bradley Walsh. I'm a big Chase fan but now get to see him something else for a change. So well done to the BBC, it's not only nice to have Doctor back after quite a long wait but it's seems fresh and new again, I'm looking forward to watching more episodes.
Did you like it? Let me know your views. Thank you so much for reading today, please feel free to pop back tomorrow for Music Monday.....but for now, take care.
