They are back, the team at AC-12 are in the thick of it already in the first episode of series five. Wow what a start and not following the usual routine of pinning down one corrupt officer this time but going for an organised crime group.
Are you keeping up with all the jargon though? I mean just in this one episode we had a RTC, SCG, OCG ARU, an UCO and a ED905. If that isn't enough to confuse you I don't know what is. I couldn't hear the sound too well on my tv, some programmes seem a bit muffled and it always tends to be the BBC for some reason so I pop the subtitles on, well that becomes more entertaining than the actual programme. I think OCG (organised crime group) and UCO (undercover officer) will feature a lot although the ED905 (name given to the truck load of heroin) had a big part. If in doubt ask a friendly police officer or look them up on the internet, like I just did. I kind of want to go around in my own life now though with loads of abbreviations..... LCO - Lawn Cutting Operation CBS - Changing Bed Sheets ED - Empty Dishwasher closely followed by FD - Fill Dishwasher (again) OSR - Operation School Run (although it tends to be college now for me) MD - Make Dinner I've already done the ED and FD this morning but need to follow up later with a LCO and CBS if I get a moment. Tough life in this domestic world. A great start to the series of Line of Duty and so good to see some familiar faces (although not for long for some - no spoilers). There are some new faces joining the cast too and I cannot wait for the next episode. It's packed with excitement and I think we can expect the normal LOD (see what I did there) twists and turns, shocks and surprises so stay tuned. We have some new dramas starting this week so I will try and keep up with those. The Durrells make a return on ITV tonight at 8pm which will be the last series so catch that if you are a fan. For now though I need to GMLAOOB (get my lazy arse out of bed) and go to and do important things. I will be back tomorrow for Music Monday but for now you all TC (take care).
