It's a bit late and I've just got back from my holidays in Scotland so it may be. bit of a short post today. I have watched a bit of tv on the odd evening and couldn't resist watching the start of new drama 'Bodyguard'.
It started last Sunday with the second programme continuing on Bank Holiday Monday, I haven't actually caught up with the third episode yet so you may know more than me at this point.....no spoilers! It got off to a great start though I thought. What a great mind player. Would he stay professional and put side his personal views aside to do his job or would his personal situation take over? I was completely glued to this as it could go either way and we just don't know how it's all going to go, complete mystery. A great drama with the potential of being a smash hit. Great acting and a very original script. I will be watching and recapping soon. Another new starter this week was the return of The Great British Bake Off. We started with biscuits this week and what a great selection of classics including the making of the great 'Wagon Wheel'. I get so hungry watching this and feel the need to start baking too which is good because I'm sure that's part of the reason for this show, to try and get the nation baking. A great mix of contestants including the lovely Star Baker this week, Manon Lagreve who was born and raised in France and despite not knowing what a Wagon Wheel was she baked them to perfection. She is going to be one to watch me thinks. I going to be ten stone heavier from not only eating my way around Scotland but watching Bake Off and celebrity Master Chef too. I'm loving John Partridge on Masterchef, you can tell it means a lot to him but Spencer Matthews maybe one to watch, he progressed massively and I think may go all the way. Love it thought, great new series and I love the new feature of them cooking with 'the wall' between the two team members, great idea!! So I'm going to come back to all these programmes again soon and recap. Sorry it's been a quickie but I need to catch up not just the tv but with myself too so I will love you all and leave you for now and be back refreshed for Music Monday tomorrow, until then....... Take care.
