Ah sad news for the telly world today
for the dear Michael Angelis has sadly passed away
His voice has been with us for so many years
a regular sound in all of our ears

He was an actor who did so much
but for Thomas the Tank fans your heart he would touch
With his smooth tone and Liverpudlian trill
listening to him was such a thrill

So we say a goodbye but you've not really gone
as you have left so many memories that will allow you to live on
From all generations of lives you did occupy
