Oh wow how exciting was Casualty last night? I was so gripped I felt an enormous bout of disappointment when the credits rolled. It was like an action packed blockbuster movie, I could have carried on watching it for at least another hour and that's not like me. I'm usually ready to nod off as I relax on my sofa but no, how could anyone have nodded off in the middle of this chaos.
Just as I thought one problem had settled there was another cropping up. Oh heck I don't envy any of the staff at Holby, they have got their work cut out here. If you are not a Holby City Hospital follower then you are probably wondering 'what the blinking heck are you on about Sue from the Brew?' Well this week sees a crossover between Casualty and Holby City which always makes sense to me as these are two programmes involving the same hospital so I tend to get a bit excited when the two come together. Saying that though I am a big Casualty watcher but not so much a Holby viewer so I'm thinking will I know what's going on when I crossover to Holby City on Tuesday evening? Now this is where me and Mum from the Brew make a good team as she is an avid Holby City watcher but not so much Casualty so we can swap notes here. It's great, it is genuinely like me and my mum work in different departments in the hospital, no don't tell me I'm taking it too seriously, let me just pretend. So lots of things going off in this hospital, basically there is a virus of the techno kind which has got into the computer system and the whole hospital is experiencing problems with monitors, equipment, lights and lifts. Yes we now have Connie Beauchamp and crew stuck in a lift with poor Iain the paramedic who is in a serious life threatening situation. We also have a car crash involving some of the Holby lot and Sacha's daughter is in a bad way, right mum? I think the people behind the scenes of both drama's will take into account that some people follow one programme and not the other but it is a good way of teasing you into watching the other option. I'm now left thinking whether I should be watching Holby City, mmm yes very clever. Basically it's all kicking off and I'm just wondering when someone is going to suggest that some patients may need to go to another hospital but then that's probably not possible. Also was that car really going fast enough to do all that spinning over and over? Great action shot though, me feels that they maybe going for a BAFTA here. The clash of the titans has started with these two (pictured), Connie and Jac Naylor going head to head. I think this is one of the best parts of the crossover. I am familiar with both of these ladies history and my goodness they are so good together. This is not just a crossover but a clash of two of the biggest personalities in Holby history. Let the bitch fest begin! Well I will be crossing over to Holby City on Tuesday night and continuing the action there. Let me know.....do you like the crossover of these two drama's? Do you prefer one to the other? Go on be a bit devilish and enjoy the other side of the hospital, you may enjoy it. I can't wait for the next week of tv.....you take care and have a great week too. I will be back tomorrow for Music Monday, join me then.
