Is it it me or does there seem just a massive influx of drama on television at the moment? Everywhere I look in my tv guide or on the telly there is a new one which has popped up or someone will say 'are you watching that new programme?' I reply by saying 'which one?' or 'nooooooo, tell me more'.
It's seems all good but I can't keep up, I am literally on a constant loop of catch up tv, binge watching episodes I've not had time to watch. I feel so overdosed on drama I'm beginning to confuse tv world with reality. My Poldark accent is coming on nicely but I do get strange looks and there are mysterious going's on in next doors pond. Not as mysterious as the going's on in The Loch though, wow what a finale. I didn't guess the murderer in that did you? I've loved it, it was great how they highlighted different characters and their motives. a true 'who done it'. I must have gone through everyone and suspected them but the end did come as a bit of a surprise. very good and well done ITV. Fearless was the other drama to end this week and I thought it was a great finale, enjoyed it very much. It was a bit deep and you had to follow it properly but overall I thought it was a good series. I have seen some reviews saying they were disappointed by the ending but I think it had a reasonable conclusion and everything seemed to fit into place. I hadn't initially watched In the Dark so I caught up with the first two programmes and I really enjoyed it. Here again I was playing armchair detective and failed miserably when it came to sorting out the killer. It's a good job I am not in the police force. The murderer would be staring me in the face wearing a sign saying 'It's me' and I still wouldn't get it. I am one of those people who just get a very big surprise when all is revealed. This is a four part drama and the next two programmes seem to be following a different story so now I've got to get my head around another case, no wonder I nod off in the middle of all these drama's, I'm exhausted by all my hopeless detective work. I think it is a good sign of a good police drama if you haven't guessed the culprit. It would be very boring if we just knew who it was straight away, it needs to adventurous and unpredictable otherwise we wouldn't want to carry on watching it until the end. You just have to remember to stay off any social media if you are in a catch up situation as the spoilers will have great delight in spreading the word. I try not to do that here, if I do I would give you a warning. And so on to 'Love Island'........no not really. I'm not watching that at all and can't understand why it is as big as it is. It's just Big Brother in the sun. I did catch about five minutes of it and frankly that's five minutes I am never going to get back. Each to their own though, we all like different things, I don't watch the soaps and have never watched Game of Thrones so you may say I'm not at all in a position to be writing about tv but I just write about what is on my tv at present. In my house I own the remote control!! Ha ha ha ha ha (evil laugh). Well it mainly ends up getting very lost and to be honest, it has seen better days. It doesn't look like the photo above anymore, it has a lot of sellotape keeping it together. Let's hope it stays together and keeps working for another week so that I can watch some more super TV. Thank you very much for reading and please do feel free to tell me all about Love Island and Game of Thrones, I would be interested to hear about what I may be missing. Take care for now but come back tomorrow for Music Monday.
