There is some great drama going on at the moment, no that's not a reference to our household at about 7.55am on a weekday when everyone is trying get out of the house and someone is still trying to find socks and a tie for school.
I'm talking about proper drama, on the. telly, Fearless being one example. How many people is that woman going to keep allowing to just come and live in her home which she shares with her boyfriend played by John Bishop. He doesn't batter an eyelid does he? So chilled out. She has a woman who's being investigated into connections with terrorism living there, the chap she's trying to prove his innocence who she's had to take in and they have been accepted to foster a young boy which may look risky now after a major police raid on her property. It is a really good drama though as she battles with being spied on herself while trying to challenge her clients conviction of the murder of a schoolgirl he is said to have committed 14 previously. Lots to unfold I think with this, it's one of those programmes you have to watch otherwise you'll miss something so it's quite intense but I'm enjoying it. Broken was also very hard to watch this week as Sean Bean's character battled to try and talk Roz from taking her own life. She was quite adamant though and I just felt myself pleading with her the whole way through to just go and get some help and not to leave those children. It was a realistic insight into how difficult it is to understand suicide unless you are feeling those feelings inside. For those not in that mindset it can almost seem like quite a selfish act as the realism of what that person is going to leave behind. He did try and help her as much as he could but the man is also fighting his own demons as well. Brilliant acting and I suppose if a drama gets to you the way this episode did then the people behind Broken are doing a pretty good job as that is the idea of a hard hitting drama such as this. The tissues came out for Nashville this week and oh I did sob. Thanks to the spoilers from over the pond I kind of knew this event was coming but not how. That's my own fault for following associated twitter accounts and not thinking that they are a little further ahead in the US so it's all out there and very difficult to avoid. So I'm not going to say what happened but you need a good supply of tissues and waterproof mascara though at 9pm on a Friday night I've usually taken mine off and popped my Pj's on. Oh how times change. Fridays nights used to be a blur especially after trying to remember what I'd drank and where. Now I'm tucked up on the sofa sobbing into tissues, it's a funny old life. Doctor Who is nearing the end of the series and the Doctor is tingling in the old regeneration areas. He's working up to it isn't he? We are all asking the same question are we not? Who will be the next one? It's gone very quiet regarding speculation, last time it was Kris Marshall who was popular but who knows, I'm liking the anticipation of not really knowing. I hope it is Kris Marshall as I think he would be brilliant so we will just have to wait. It's a fabulous finale with Missy and the Master coming together although being the same person but hey it's time travel, anything can happen. The Cybermen are back in Mondasian form, early Cybermen who look more menacing with cloth faces and whatever has he let happen to Bill. All will be revealed next time. So have a good week, I will however be back tomorrow for Music Monday so please come back for that. Take care for now........
