I made the jump from Casualty

Well, I rushed from Casualty to see what was happening in the other department at Holby City. The chaos just continued really didn't it? Oh heck Iain nearly fluffed it and it wasn't looking great for Sacha. Connie and Jac decided to fight out their differences and then ended up operating on each other's patients, now there was a crossover to be seen.

Meanwhile in the scanner room Essie collapsed due to her diabetes while looking after Sacha's daughter and Ric made a valiant attempt to scramble through the roof to reach them. Thank goodness for the power coming back on....phew I was pretty exhausted watching this.

It kept me awake though, there was no time to nap here, too much going on. I kind of want Ric and Elle to get together now we know it was he whom she had a one night stand with at the old medical conference. Not sure whether that works for anyone else but maybe that story will continue. My heart went out to Noel when he went to confess that he may have been responsible for opening a dodgy email leading to all this kafuffle. He is so lovely and it ended up that he wasn't and that he was in the clear.

In fact everyone ended up in the clear and alive which was a good result. I've since been to visit Iain back in Casualty last night and although stable now he is still fighting his demons but with his sister for support now.

Hey what a very dramatic week and well done to all involved, it was a great couple of episodes. I was listening to the Executive Producer being interviewed on Radio 2 last week and he was asked whether there would be more crossovers like this. I felt from what he said it was a bit stressful to actually get these two drama's together and it involved a lot of hard work so we may not see them too often but I did enjoy it.

It is nice to get a taste for another programme in this way if you don't watch it already. I suppose if viewing figures do slide a bit it's a good way of pumping them up again but I'm not saying that's why it was done. I like these to dramas as they just continue on and on. There is never a break unless it's for the odd occasion when there is something else on, usually football, a World Cup or something similar. I like that we don't have to wait for another series in a years time so hats off to those who work so hard to put these programmes together.

I'm going to have a lie down now as this medical lark is hard work. I will be back though tomorrow for Music Monday so join me then but for now, take care everyone!!
