Ohhh did you watch that this week, the new series Liar? I was torn between the two, and what is going on there with Laura's sister, nurse Katy? Is she copping off with her sisters ex? It's a conundrum (that's a big word eh?).
If you've not caught up with it yet, Laura is a teacher who gets asked out on a date by her sisters work colleague Andrew who is a surgeon. She invites him into her house to call a taxi and one thing leads to another. This is not the time to discuss the 'birds and the bees' but you get my drift. Seriously though, the end of the evening is cast into confusion as Laura claims Andrew raped her. Andrew states they had an amazing evening and it ended wonderful and he hoped to see her again. So that's the dilemma and the story that is gong to unfold. Who is telling the truth? I've got to keep watching now as I feel it's going to be like watching tennis. I'm going to believe one person then believe the other and just keep switching between till the truth is confirmed. You can catch this on Monday ITV at 9pm. It's like being a detective I suppose, two sides to a story and you have to find the truth which leads me very nicely into the second story in the Strike series. The Silkworm was a bit gruesome this week wasn't it? Owen and his controversial novel has led him to a grizzly end so now Strike and Robin have to filter out the characters to see if the murderer lies somewhere in the manuscript. Robin is living her dream of becoming an investigator but also falling for Strike me thinks. Awwww I so want them to get together. Loving this series and can't wait for the next episode on Sunday BBC1 9pm. If you like to binge watch on Netflix you need to watch Orphan Black. It has five seasons and if you like drama, mixed with a little science and a good plot then you will love this. It starts with Sarah Manning who witnesses an incident at a train station and from there on unwinds a network of human cloning. Together her and her 'sisters' find the truth behind the experiment which brought them altogether and discover just how many of them there are. Tatiana Maslany does a great job of acting all the clones, they are all so different in character and sometimes you forget it's the same actress. It is very gripping and definitely one of those that you will want to watch just one more of until you realise you've come to the end. It does end at the end of Season 5 so no more after that, yes I am now very sad and need to find something else to watch. There's plenty to keep me going on tv to be honest. Great tv like Cold Feet which I'm loving, Masterchef will come to an end soon, can't wait to see who wins that, I'm still loving the Bake off and Strictly to come next weekend. Woah! So keep coming back for a chat about it all and do tell me what you think, what's your favourite? You take care for now and thank you for reading today. I'll be back tomorrow for a bit of Music Monday.
