Blimey that was a heck of a finale of the drama series Bodyguard. I think I stopped breathing at one point, which is not good as I had to last fifteen minutes more than I thought.
It got to ten o' clock and I thought that it just wasn't wrapping up then realised it was in extra time, great I'm nearing hyperventilating now. What a great ending though, even if Sgt Budd was using a radio with a bomb around his middle. I'm no expert and not even sure whether that's a risk, I know they tell me not to use my mobile phone at the petrol station but exactly how risky is it to use a radio so close to a bomb? I don't want to find out. I thought it was really good, don't get me wrong there are other dramas just as good but this seemed to dominate the viewing figures. I'm not sure if I had any idea of how it would end as there were so many twists and turns but the end made sense and was even left open for maybe another series. I'll need to prepare my poor beating heart but yes I think it could be interesting to see another series. I think Strangers is another twisty sort of drama and really grabbing me at the moment. Can we trust anyone in this?....David the husband in Hong Kong or the Police seem all corrupt as well so not sure where this is going to go. I like that....a bit of mystery and I always like to gasp at the end, a good sign so cannot wait to see how this turns out. I'm now wondering if John Simm may turn out not be as he seems but am I just going a bit overboard with the plot. I do sometimes get to the end of some dramas and get slightly disappointed as I would have finished them differently but that doesn't mean it's right just that I may get a bit carried away. I'm really enjoying Press at the moment too. I love Ben Chaplin in this, he is such a naughty editor but just love the way he portrays Duncan the editor of The Post. Now Holly is jumping ship from The Herald and going to the dark side, yikes! Is she doing the right thing? I'm not sure but I'm really looking forward to see her go for it. I think she will be a good challenge with Duncan. Great drama though, loving it. The winner of Celebrity Masterchef was just who I wanted it to be. I have loved watching John Partridge and did think he was a winner from the start. I love how he showed his emotions and that he felt so passionate about the food he cooked, it actually meant something to him which I think added to the reason he deserved to be the winner. Well done John and I hope we see you cooking more on the tv. A great series this time and a big well done to everyone else who took part. So who is going to leave Strictly tonight? I think it will be Susannah Constantine, she lacks the confidence and I think she'll get left behind with the others making a lot of progress. I feel sorry for her partner Anton Du Beke, he always gets put with he celebrity who you know will go out early. I would love the BBC to put him with someone who stands a better chance of winning.....always early doors for him and he makes me laugh. Oh well, we'll see anyway. Well I didn't win the big rollover lottery but did win a lucky dip for next week so maybe my winnings are yet to come. I'll keep you posted. Have a good week and if you want to read more then join me tomorrow for Music Monday but for now take care.
