Wow what a week for Strictly and one couple in particular. I don''t have to say who as I'm sure we've all ready and seen enough of it all now. I am figuring though to get hold of that gliterball trophy you have to have stamina not only on the dance floor but in your relationship too.
If you saw The Jonathan Ross last night then you would have seen all three judges giving their views on the situation. I love Craig Revel Horwood anyway but he just nailed it all by saying that the curse was sometimes a blessing. He basically said that if your relationship wasn't that strong to start with then it is going to struggle. They all agreed that this kind of thing happens in any workplace in any profession all over the place it's just that of course it is going to here as the programme is so popular. Well lets hope it all blows over and gets sorted privately now and Seann and Katya can get on with the dancing. Maybe they ought to give drinkies after training a miss but they are through to the next week and to be honest I'm glad. I am a Seann Walsh fan and have been from the start, I don't think he'll win the thing but hey he was doing ok before his mouth accidentally fell on his partners......oh heck!! Bring it back guys and lets move on. A couple of programmes ended this week. We saw the last episode of Press which I have loved. I took to the drama between the two newspapers, The Herald and The Post. Holly kicked ass and we nearly saw the demise of Duncan but he wasn't going to give up early eh? I do hope this comes back. It was also the end of Wanderlust too. Now I have had a kind of love hate thing with this series. It must of captured me in some way as I watched it all. I did end up liking it in a way. There was the odd episode when I wondered how I would ever get that time back and that I may have wasted my viewing time but I needed to see what happened. It was a good drama and the cast were brilliant which is the reason it kept me watching. You take a look and see what you think, it is really worth a watch. Woah so I'm writing this post a little later than usual and have just watched The Cry. I was stuck like glue to the screen, I knew there was something about this abduction that wasn't sitting right but blimey what great drama. I just couldn't help thinking whether someone would actually do this with their baby and then another high profile, true child disappearance kept popping up in my mind. You know the one, is this what could have happened there? Who knows but if you haven't seen this evening's episode do catch up as it's absolutely brilliant. The series concludes next week. That's where I'm going to leave it for this week. Thank you for reading, please join me again tomorrow for Music Monday but for now...... Take care.
