Oh who is the mysterious Woman in White? This was the start of a fab new drama in which Walter Hartright come across a woman on the way home from a party (like ya do) and she seemed a bit lost and troubled in some way. She jumps in the next carriage available and out of his life but he can't stop thinking about her. Anyway he pops off to Cumberland on a job which involves teaching art to two half sisters and there he finds an eerie connection between the mystery woman he met and the family he is now working with.

I was hooked, it's not too scary so if you have not watched it because you may be thinking it might just scare the witts out of you I think you'll be ok with this. It's more mysterious and unexplained rather than frightening, so give it a go. To be honest I think there have been more scary episodes of Doctor Who than this but it is really good and very addictive. I now do need to know what is happening and who this woman in white is.

Another good starter this week was The Split. Hannah played by Nicola Walker has quit the family law firm and started working for a rival company so she comes up against the family in a fierce divorce battle. Now you have to watch the first one and keep track as it kind of lays the land of who everyone is and how the relationships are mapped out so pay attention. It's great though and lots of famous faces such as Meera Syal, Stephen Tompkinson, Anthony Head and Stephen Mangan. They say it's tough working with family, well if your mum refuses you a promotion then what can you do? You go and look for a better offer it seems. Love it. This is going to be good, I can feel it in my brew.

Well we said goodbye to The Good Karma Hospital for another series and it was lovely. We will have to wait to see whether romance will blossom  between Ruby and Gabriel so be patient guys she needs a bit of time. Personally I can't think what's keeping her but hey ho. The wedding went well for Dr Ram and Mala and we saw Lydia help an old friend out with a huge big favour. That was emotional and I thought Sue Johnston was just brilliant in that role. So heartfelt and my eyes leaked slightly. It will be back I believe. I've never looked forward to going to hospital so much as joining this lot......can't wait for more.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace finished too this week if you have been watching it. It's been quite dark and very violent in parts as we followed the life of Andrew Cunanan, the man who murdered Versace. In my honest opinion I think this could have been done in about six episodes rather than the nine I think it was. Very drawn out and I do question how true the story was. I know it did have a warning on all episodes to say some facts had to been altered to basically make it good drama but I'm not sure that's good for loved ones left behind of the people he murdered. I did feel for Versace's lover who was sort of disowned by the family at the end so I'm not sure how true that was. So sad and brutal but it was compulsive viewing which is why I stuck with it I think. It is worth a watch if you like a true murder story but I'd keep a cushion handy to hide behind for the violent bits.

Well you'll never guess what we did last night......My son thought it would be a good idea to watch the film Ironman so I scoured Netflix, no it wasn't there, found it on my Virgin movies for £2.99 so bought it and we settled down to watch it. When it finished it flicked off and guess what? Yes you'll know if you saw the tv last night. It was on Channel Four wasn't it? What's the chances of that happening? I nearly did check to see whether it was on but thought noooooo it won't be because that's clutching at straws (paper ones of course). Oh couldn't actually believe it. Just glad I didn't pay much more otherwise I would have been really miffed. Love the film and I am the proud owner of it for to days now but we can't stop laughing about it. It's ok we do know Ironman 2 is on Thursday on Film Four so have prepared for that. Phew!!

And that's where I leave you for another week. Can you believe it? Another week gone, it will soon be Christmas. Noooooooo don't mention that eh? Enjoy your week and if you fancy joining me tomorrow you would be most welcome for Music Monday. For now though.......

Take care.
