Snow

Snow hit us hard this week
temperatures dipped making it very very bleak
It's ok though we had plenty of warning
of the impending snowfall about to be forming

It's always the same though
we as a country are crap with snow
We gain just a few inches 
and everyone winces

Travel becomes dicey
when it's ever so icey
A snow day for some
for others a school is done

As it gets increasingly chilly
drivers drive a bit silly
Accidents are ever more 
with speed limits some choose to ignore

But snowmen they come alive
appearing on a garden or a drive
Kids they sledge down the hills
showing off their wintry skills

Snowballs are for throwing 
or drinking keep them flowing
However you enjoy the snow
stay safe, stay upright and go with the flow
