The Runaways

What do you do if you find yourself somewhere you don't wanna be?
in a restaurant where the menu is hard to see
Do you run or stick it out?
To see what it's really all about

Well after a few dodgy looks amongst ourselves
we scarpered nearly bumping into the shelves
Ya see after a few hellos and people acknowledging us there
I thought staying there would have only been fair

But no my accomplices decided to bolt
don't worry poor eatery place it wasn't your fault
The place was very snug and we just changed our mind
not being rude or being unkind

I bet it was strange for the waiting staff
for one minute we were there then we were out of that gaff
The other customers looked slightly aghast 
you've either not had any nosh or eaten bloody fast

Apparently we didn't have to stay just to please any other
and that is advice coming from my mother
She knows what she wants when it comes to food and a brew
so off we went in search of somewhere new
